Incile Canal: the installation of “Porte Vinciane” is completed
A press briefing was held today at the yard of the Incile Canal with the aim to provide an update on the works for the reopening of the Incile, the connection between the Arno and the Navicelli Canal to restore the navigability from the center of Pisa to the Port of Livorno. The date of completion of works is confirmed by the end of 2016.
The works are funded by the company OLT Offshore LNG Toscana – within the agreement signed between OLT, the Province and the Municipality of Pisa – and it is managed by the company Navicelli SpA, while the construction works are carried out by the company Lavori Ingg. Umberto Forti e Figli SpA, following the award of a public tender.
